I’m honored that one of my photographs is included in History Through the Lens of the Artist exhibit on display at the St. Augustine Art Association: July 18 – August 25, 2024. The Opening Reception and Awards Presentation is on Thursday, July 18 at 5:30pm.
The image was made inside The Palace of Versailles, just west of Paris, France. The 21.5 x 32 inches color photograph was printed by Fototechnika and framed by Barnetts’s Art & Frame Gallery, both in Jacksonville, Florida.
The image falls into the genre of street photography. It captures a female in front of a large ornate window with the outside grounds partially hidden by fog. I believe the image captures the beauty, history and culture of 16th century France.
